Stress Response

It is often difficult for us to understand what our state of stress is in any meaningful way.
I was listening to colleague talk at the weekend and he gave this example:
Imagine stepping out into the road and a car swerving to avoid you blowing his horn.  How would you feel at this moment in time?
This is how most of us are a majority of the time; in a constant state of stress (fight or flight)
Whilst the nervous system is in a state of stress so will be every cell in the body.
The body cannot heal repair or regenerate under these conditions and eventually symptoms will occur as the state of health of the body deteriorates.
